Terms and Conditions – Schotia Safaris Private Game Reserve
Welcome to Schotia Safaris Private Game Reserve. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any safari, accommodation, or service with us. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
- Payment
Full payment is due on arrival before your safari or service begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. - Government Taxes and Currency
Should government taxes or levies be amended, or should a further tax or levy be introduced during the duration of the agreement, or should the currency Rand/Dollar exchange rate weaken, these changes will apply. Payments are accepted in the following currencies:
- Credit Card payments: Rand only.
- Cash payments: Rand only.
We offer good cash discounts.
- Children Policy
We welcome children of all ages. Terms and Conditions for children are as follows:
- Young babies who sit on their parent’s lap: Free of charge.
- All other children will be charged the applicable rate as they occupy a seat, a bed, and consume food.

You must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking to ensure a smooth experience. Any changes to bookings must be communicated promptly. - Changes by Schotia Safaris
We reserve the right to modify itineraries, timings, accommodation, or substitute safari activities due to reasons beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, park regulations, animal movements, or safety concerns. - Customer Responsibility
Guests must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions given by Schotia Safaris staff and guides. Schotia Safaris is not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience experienced during your stay or safari, except where caused by our proven negligence. - Health and Safety
Guests are responsible for their personal health and ensuring they are fit for safari activities. Please notify us of any medical conditions or special requirements before arrival. - Communication
We will communicate important information regarding your booking using the contact details you provide. Please ensure that these details are accurate and regularly monitored. - Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations and refund policies will be provided at the time of booking and may vary depending on the package or service chosen. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
